The Student Consultancy Project

MULTIPLY is pleased to have been selected by the Queen Mary University of London to participate in the Student Consultancy Project. The project gives students the opportunity to work as a multidisciplinary team, to solve business and enterprise challenges.

MULTIPLY has challenged students to research technology transfer strategies, policies and programmes within governments across Europe. Focus is on advanced engineering sectors (i.e. space, energy, infrastructure or defence). Students will be analysing their research to provide insight on best practice and approaches.

One of MULTIPLY’s core value is to inspire and enable others to go beyond the obvious and challenge themselves to make step-changes and push boundaries. The Student Consultancy Project aligns to this, providing students and the MULTIPLY team the chance to challenge what we know today and what we could do tomorrow.

The project will be completed by the end of March 2021 and MULTIPLY will, in a follow-on article, share some of the findings. This is one of the projects MULTIPLY is delivering with leading academic partners to raise the profile of B2B technology transfer in advanced engineering sectors. With a vision to effectively leverage technology transfer to drive, not only commercial growth, but also social impact that can create emerging industries, jobs, stimulating innovation, economic growth and international engagement.
